A seven week class designed to give first-time mom's important information as they enter into the toughest and most rewarding job of all "parenthood." Topics discussed include: Taking Care of You and Your Baby, Bonding and Learning Your Baby's Needs, Proper Care For Your Baby, Nutrition For a Healthy Mom & Baby, Developmental Stages, and Support & Resources.
These Life Skills workshops are designed to teach young moms the necessary skills to achieve independence for them and their baby. These are taught periodically, so check our schedule for classes being offered. Some of the workshops offered include: nutrition, budgeting, proper hair care & make-up, CPR training, job skills training, and many more topics relevant to young moms.
A support group that meets once a month dedicated to meeting the needs of young moms. This group provides the opportunity to get together with other young moms to talk about experiences, feelings, and daily challenges they face.
A one-on-one mentoring program designed to match young moms with moms that have already been through the challenges of motherhood. They meet on a regular basis for discipleship through Bible Studies, activities, and special projects together.
One-on-one tutoring is set up and a plan is developed and followed up with for continuing education to help young moms achieve their educational goals.
